dragoncaller: You and I are much alike, Robin.

With fear and dread I look towards the final days before Teen Titans premiers it's second season.

What sadness!

I know the second season can't be as awesome as the first. It's impossible! They achieved perfection! Quit while you're ahead! Quit before you suck!

I'll be there, loyal and stedfast to witness the end.

Where's that box of Kleenex?

dragoncaller: Justice League

Just as I thought Justice League was the dumbest construct on the planet, they get all interesting as Hawkgirl starts making out with Green Lantern! Now I HAVE to watch!

Hey, I'm new here, first post and all. But I do come from the OLD school of Toonami. I still remember getting excited about the preview commercials. "Cartoon Network is building a better cartoon show? That sounds interesting!" I remember rushing home from school to see Clyde-49, The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest, and Robotech. I remember being awed and amazed when Moltar started showing new eps of DBZ, after all these years of waiting for a translation. I I remember thinking TOM is the coolest guy ever. I remember seeing Blue Sub Six at a special screening at WizardWorld, getting an exclusive Intruder poster, and a lingering feeling that something terrible was about to happen. I remember sitting with my best friend, watching the tv and web simulcast when TOM died. I remember being very pissed. I remember exchanging weapon passcodes during Lockdown. I remember getting up early to watch Rising Sun and staying up late to watch Midnight Run. I remember hating when MSG was pulled before even finishing its first run. I remember making popcorn and watching the DBZ movies on friday. Thanks for the memories.

xbubblegumwadx: Hi all.

I'm a new member to this wonderful concoction of fun that is Toonami. I'm just really mad that they took Rurouni Kenshin off the air. I mean didn't they say "We like to save to best for last" and then "poof" it's gone. And I was sad. *tear* Now I have to wait for Saturday nights, which isn't that bad, but it's hard. Oi.

Much sadness from me.

dnukem170: New Tenchi and Gundam

For those who don't know, FUNimation has licensed Tenchi Muyo! GXP, the side series based on Mihoshi's cousin in the Galaxy Police who looks a lot like Tenchi. Here's hoping they don't get the 3rd OAV, just because they won't get the original cast for it, I know it.

Also, Gundam SEED is being dubbed right now by Bandai for release over here. Apparently, Richard Cox (InuYasha, Ranma, Quicksilver) is doing the voice of Tohuru.

dnukem170: "Only Toonami"

(Crossposted on anime)

OK, so I was browsing around the ToonZone forums when I came across this thread here. It basically asks "Should Williams Street get rid of the custom openings on Toonami?" Right now the poll is pretty much split 50/50. Everybody wants the original openings, but they don't wanna get rid of something that has come to represent Toonami. Others wish that they could play both, but if not then go with the custom openings, while others say "screw the custom openings!"

Personally, I say stick with the custom openings. My reasoning's been posted on the forum. And I'll let the original openings stay gone if Cartoon Network will keep it's "one commercial break per show" format.
